How to recycle oil

lubricant

The process of restoring used oil to new oil (by removing chemical impurities, heavy metals and dirt) is complex.

Did you know?

We have developed in partnership with Véolia a plant called Osilub which uses cutting-edge technology to regenerate used oils.

We have also developed a new service for waste oil collection in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland). This innovative system is designed to make recycling both an easy and profitable process for customers, as well as a marketable solution. TOTAL Nordic has recently partnered with the leading recycling company Stena Recycling.Together, the two groups have created a safe and efficient collection service for waste oil and oil filters. Through this cooperation, TOTAL customers have access to recycling services: a special service centre has been set up for them with a direct number and dedicated staff from Stena Recycling with the option to have waste oil picked up from their site.
